Sign Up | Log In | Edit Profile | Activity | Groups | Friends | Mentions | Messages | Support
Use the main navigation to have a look around the site.
If you haven’t signed up yet, do so now
through our super quick sign up page…
Be sure to pick a good Username
as this will be used for your URL Link as well as your @Name
which people can use to mention you and notify you of their messages
much the same way as Twitter.
Click ‘Complete Sign Up’, check your email,
and ‘Activate’ your account through the Activation Link we email you.
Once you’re registered, you’ll be able to log in
anytime through the top right Login Box.
Now, when you get logged in, that’s when the fun begins.
You’ll notice the Login Box changes
to a Link for Your Profile and Your Notifications.
In the Notifications Box (in the Right Sidebar) you’ll see links
to any new messages, group invitations, and friend requests.
You’re also directed to your Activity page which will be the main place
to post your updates as well as track activity from yourself, your groups, and your friends.
Since we only ask for a Name to start you out
the first thing you’ll probably want to do is
edit your profile and avatar.
Just click on your Name in the Top Right (Sign Up / Logged In Box)
or by clicking on your Name anywhere in the site for that matter.
In the Sub Navigation, click the Profile Tab and ‘Edit Profile’ or ‘Change Avatar’.
From here you can move through the instructions, forms, and buttons.
Now that your profile is lookin’ and sounding great, it’s time to connect and participate.
In the Activity Tab you can say hello and post your updates.
You’ll notice in the ‘Post In’ dropdown box you can make your post
in your profile, or directly in your groups.
Here you can also track the activity from site wide activity,
to the activity of groups you’ve joined and your friend’s activity.
You can also Reply to posts as well as add posts to your Favorite collection.
In Vybee.com, Groups are the main hubs of activity.
By joining groups based on your interests,
you can tailor your experience on Vybee.com
You can join groups through the Groups Directory,
clicking on groups of interest, and clicking the ‘Join Group’ buttons.
For private groups you can click the ‘Request Membership’ button
for the Admins and Mods to approve you into the group.
Send them a nice message and let them why you’d like to join.
Once you’re a member of a group,
you can post updates in the group’s home page.
And you can participate in the group forum.
You’ll also be able to track all the group activity
from your Activity page > ‘My Groups’
As with Groups, the Friends you connect with
on Vybee.com will enhance your experience.
Find friends through the Member’s Directory,
as well as through Groups, or through other Friends.
Anytime you click on a Member Name or Avatar
you’ll be taken to their page where you can click ‘Add Friend’
‘Mention’ them in a public post or send them a ‘Private Message’
Here you can also see their latest activity, profile, groups, and friends.
In any activity post box, use ‘@Username’ to Mention someone in a public post.
Be sure to use @ + their Username (found in blue letters next to their profile name)
without any spaces.
This will make a public post with their link + send them a notification of the post.
You can check and send messages through your member page.
To send a New Message just click Messages > Compose.
Select Friends by typing names of your friends in the ‘Send To’ Box.
