The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Get involved and you’ll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

St. Patty’s Run Green 8K and After Party

Registration is now open for the 4th annual St. Paddy’s Run Green 8k! 2012 is going to be another great year for the race! As always, there will be live Irish music, tasty food from Tir na nOg Irish Pub, and the first beer is free (for runner’s age 21+ of course)! This year you will also get a free race tech shirt!

Enjoy race contests sponsored by the nOg Run Club: Fastest kilted runners, best St. Paddy’s theme costumes, and best team costume (at least 3 runners, and must finish at the same time)!

The first 2,000 registered 8K runners receive their first beer is free (age 21+) and a free race tech shirt!

Highlights of this great event include:
Post-race street party hosted by Tir na nOg Irish Pub. The beer truck will have beer available for purchase (21 and above).
Bands will be playing in Moore Square, great beer and food provided by Tir na nOg all evening!

A ”green” sustainable event with minimal landfill waste, natural, compostable food and drink containers, and other earth-friendly initiatives.

Come and enjoy the Carter Building Artists’ interpretation of the Mad Hatter in tribute to the crazy time of March Madness. Will they’re work reflect Lewis Carroll’s work or will it be derived from the source? Hat makers used mercury in the making of felted hats, exposure to the mercury drove them insane.

Segway Tours of Raleigh

Beginners Homebrewing Class w/ American Brewmaster!

American Brewmaster has been teaching the Triangle how to brew for many years and would like to invite you to learn! The Beginner’s Homebrewing Class will explain the entire brewing procedure and the basic ingredients found in beer. There will be tastings of several commercial and homebrewed beers and discussions of recipes. There will even be a brewing demonstration held at the restaurant!
