This greater purpose and community coming together is really what sets Vybee.com apart.

After some dubious signups yesterday, we now have not 1 but 4 spam control features to keep Vybee.com clean, relevant, and local.

Our new security features all work in the background with no effects on usability which is what we like.

Apparently once we got a good buzz going and started ranking well in Google, one side effect is spam bots find you out as well.

These new security measures will keep our site safe and clean so we can continue to focus on the relevant local updates and connections that Vybee.com is good for.

Wednesday is the big day! Presenting at Triangle Entrepreneur Week http://vybee.com/tew/ & the close of the Stampede: http://vybee.com/startup-stampede-final-stretch/

I’ll be presenting at Triangle Entrepreneur Week Wed. Nov. 16th.

And we’re giving away Free Passes to the impressive line up of events between Raleigh and Durham.

I’ll be presenting on how we can foster a local community for entrepreneurs based on what we’ve been building at Vybee.com and what I’ve learned through the Durham Startup Stampede program along with Stampede founders Adam Klein from the Durham Chamber of Commerce, Matthew Coppedge from Downtown Durham Inc, Raleigh City Councilor, Mary-Ann Baldwin, and Derrick Minor of Downtown Raleigh Alliance.

Our event will be Wednesday Nov. 16th from 2:00 – 4:00pm
at the Longview Center (118 S. Person St. Raleigh, NC).
